    How to Reactivate Your Account

    Bybit now offers self-service reactivation for users who previously deactivated their accounts. Please note that this option is exclusively available to those who have self-deactivated their accounts. If your account has been suspended due to security concerns, this service will not be applicable. Additionally, users who voluntarily deactivated their accounts must wait 24 hours before they can utilize the self-reactivation service.



    Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to reactivate your account.




    Step 1: Go to the Bybit Web or App Login page and enter the credentials of the deactivated account. Then, click on Log in.

     






    Step 2: You will be redirected to a page mentioning that your account has been banned. Click on Request to Unban to proceed further.

     






    Step 3: Complete the security verification and click on Submit.

     



    If the system determines that your account poses a low-security risk, the unban request will be processed, and you can resume using your reactivated account. Once your account is reactivated, your account will be restricted from withdrawal (including Crypto Withdrawal, Fiat Withdrawal or P2P services) for 24 hours. 

     

    However, if any suspicious activity is detected, you will be redirected to a Self-Service Unban page. There, you will need to follow the steps below to submit certain documents for review. 






    Step 4: On the Self-Service Unban page, you may be required to provide the following details for our Customer Support to review and process your unban request. The document(s) required may vary for different account statuses. The process will take approximately 5-7 working days. 

     



    The table below shows the information that may be required on the page. It may take some time to process certain verifications, please refresh your browser before any document submission if you have been inactive on the page for too long.

    1. Contact Email

    • Fill in your registered email address. 


    • Ensure the email address is contactable.


    • Check your spam email if you did not receive any emails from Bybit regarding your reactivation request in your inbox after seven (7) working days. 

    2. Proof of Previous Deposit to Bybit

    • Assuming a transfer was made from Exchange A to Bybit, you will need to obtain a clear screen recording demonstrating your ability to log in to Exchange A and showing the transfer details as valid proof of the previous deposit.


    • The screen recording needs to highlight the following key points: 

    • Able to successfully log into Exchange A (To protect your login credentials, you may start the screen recording after typing the username and password. Face ID login/SMS code/2FA verification is acceptable).

    • Redirect to the withdrawal history page in Exchange A.

    • Show us all the transfer details clearly. 

    • Click on the link that redirects you to the blockchain and show us the transaction information on the blockchain. If Exchange A does not have the link to the blockchain, you may skip this step.

    • Please make sure your video attachment does not exceed 50MB. 


    • The accepted formats for attachments are mp4 or mov. 

    3. Upload Photos of ID Documents for Verification

    • Upload a copy of the identity document used for your previous identity verification(s) on Bybit.


    • Make sure it is the same document used for your earlier identity verification(s) on Bybit. For instance, if your passport was used for your earlier verification(s), please submit a copy of your passport, while other identity documents such as a driver’s license won’t be acceptable.


    • Make sure the details on the identity document and your face are clear on the photo.


    • The digital copy of the document(s) or photo(s) uploaded must be original. Edited or printed versions are unacceptable.


    • Supported file formats include JPG, JPEG, and PNG. 


    • The max. file size supported is 3MB.

    4. Selfie Photo 


    (Hold your identity document and a handwritten note for verification)

    • A selfie photo of you holding a piece of a handwritten note and your Original ID.


    • The note should include your specific request and the date (must be the same as the day you recorded the selfie video).


    • The note should state clearly your request: I want to reactivate my Bybit account. 


    • Your facial features should be clearly visible.

    5. Selfie Video


    (Hold your identity document and a handwritten note for verification)

    • A selfie video of you holding a piece of a handwritten note and your original ID.


    • The note should include your specific request and the date (must be the same as the day you recorded the selfie video).


    • The note should state clearly your request: I want to reactivate my Bybit account. It must be handwritten and include the date of the day you took the selfie video. The date written on the handwritten note should match the day of the selfie video.


    • Then, read out the above message in English (or your mother tongue if English is not possible)


    • Please upload clear ID document photos with visible facial features.


    • Your facial features should be clearly visible.



    Once you have provided the details, proceed to submit your request. Our Customer Support will review your request and contact you through the registered or contactable email address given. The process will take approximately 5-7 working days.

     

    Once your account is reactivated, your account will be restricted from withdrawal (including Crypto Withdrawal, Fiat Withdrawal, or P2P services) for 24 hours.
